The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden

i encourage you all to join me for some casual drinking, social lubrication and light laughter right here in the beer garden.

Oh and before anyone gets up in arms about alcohol and its dangers the main beer on tap is VB or virtual beer

beer is the third most commonly consumed drink in the world behind water and tea

why not share the worlds joy with friends

Re: The Beer Garden

I'm okay @Kurra, got a med cert for uni yesterday which is a big relief. Will be handing in the paperwork on Monday. Hope it all goes well. I'm so tired today, feel like a nap and I only got up at 11am!
How have you been @Kurra, @Former-Member and @Faith-and-Hope ?

Re: The Beer Garden

Think that would be better than how I spent last night @Kurra. Best if you stock up those fridges. Its warming up down here now. I will be looking for a long drink.

Re: The Beer Garden

Sorry for my last vague message @Kurra. Thanks for the warm welcome. Thought I'd have to give up my TAFE subject this week @Former-Member but im hanging in there. Its a far cry from uni though. I hope they give you your withdrawal exemption. I've been through that process before and it's a bit stressful. Good luck. I had a nap about 3 hours after i was up today. Must be a day for it. You realise me hanging around the beer garden is me procrastinating my study too, always preferred to be in a bar than doing homework strangely enough

Re: The Beer Garden

Oh, that's so good that you're hanging in with your subject. I don't keep up with the forums much, but have things been extra tough for you recently? I hope that whatever it was goes away or gets better. What are you studying again?
I'm procrastinating too! And Kurra looking for coffee just set me off. I blame @Kurra! 😜

Re: The Beer Garden

@Former-MemberYeah me too with the blame @Kurra

I'm just studying one subject in women's education called Dealing with conflict. I was really grateful that the student counsellor smoothed the path for me to continue. It was only 8 weeks long. I haven't got myself right for weeks but just back to one day at a time

Hi @Former-Member .... travelling at the mo .... we're bilingual / bicultural and we're in our other country, but not for long. Going round and about the UK very shortly .... very exciting .... I'm from Anglo-Celtic stock mainly .... pinch of Austrian thrown in for good measure .... so really looking forward to a dose of ancestry .... and history .... and art .... some serious distraction goin' on over here .... 😆❣
