The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden

i encourage you all to join me for some casual drinking, social lubrication and light laughter right here in the beer garden.

Oh and before anyone gets up in arms about alcohol and its dangers the main beer on tap is VB or virtual beer

beer is the third most commonly consumed drink in the world behind water and tea

why not share the worlds joy with friends

you mean I'm been lapped? @Former-Member wondering how one makes a diet sausage roll? sausage meat is mostly filler, plus pastry? sure you are making healthy ones

Re: The Beer Garden

Hi @Faith-and-Hope

I understand the endorphins - they can be addictive - and even now in my old age I can still trigger the pressure points to cope with my back pain - it works for a few minutes - so long distance running is okay if we are aware of why we are doing it I guess - we used to call it the Second Wind and no one ever told me that it was not the best idea we ever had

I hope the weekend isn't too rough on you - and that WH's vision is okay - I guess that was a terrible scare for everyone - will he takes any notice of it? I don't expect you know the answer to that - but if your guy wants to be super-healthy I guess this will pull him up for a bit

So you see the specialist tomorrow - how wonderful that you could get an appointment so quickly

I will be very interested to know how things go

Re: The Beer Garden

Hi @Decadian

We for in quickly to the specialist because, while this isn't an emergency, it is very serious and needs urgent treatment.

While the eating disorder appears to be about a pursuit of excellent health, it is actually a mental likeness centred in conrtol, self-esteem and / or shame issues, that channels itself into food and exercise obsession ..... if we don't get him treated soon he will suffer in teasingly serious health complications.

Hopefully tomorrow is the start of rescuing him ....

Yes @Faith-and-Hope

I know it is not about the food - but rather it's that his workaholism has changed into an eating and exercise disorder to reverse his previous bad food habits etc -

I really do hope WH can see this now - that this is the beginning of healing

Re: The Beer Garden

@Decadian I am afraid it is going to have to be spelled out to him hard by someone he is prepared to listen to first ..... hopefully this is the person, an the occasion .....

Thank you for listening, and all your care .... it's so hard to watch him struggling ..... D3 had friends stay over last night and WH cooked up a storm for breakfast ..... a banquet table full of a whole cafe breakfast menu ..... ten times more than any of us could eat .....

I'm struggling for fridge space ..... argh !!
