The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden

i encourage you all to join me for some casual drinking, social lubrication and light laughter right here in the beer garden.

Oh and before anyone gets up in arms about alcohol and its dangers the main beer on tap is VB or virtual beer

beer is the third most commonly consumed drink in the world behind water and tea

why not share the worlds joy with friends

Re: The Beer Garden

I crave sweet every day @Former-Member 😯😮😢
Often I grab a handful of sultanas, dates or similar. Honey on toast or crackers is nice, I can't have honey, so I use rice syrup or sugar free jam. It's not easy giving up sugar.

So, the magpies got you too, lol. @TAB
I thought I'd have a go walking around here with a cap on. I saw magpies everywhere, like a horror movie. Haha! I'll give it a miss.

Re: The Beer Garden

@@utopia - my dd was a tomboy and didn't mind wearing her bro's handmedowns but I inherited clothes from the daughter of some friends of my parents- and yes - I think that was a form of child abuse

Luckily Gran took pity on me and made them over -

And @TAB - I was horribly disappointed in TV when it first arrived in Aus - talk about B&W - that's what it was - no 50 shades of grey - Bor-ing - and we didn't get it until I was 17 and I hardly watched it then - but in spite of that feel deprived

Enough grouching - Dad taught me to shoot - how many kids get a parent taking them out in the bush with several guns to learn to shoot rabbits for dinners? There would be people up in arms about that now

Hand-me-downs though - horrible clothes

Re: The Beer Garden

Ahhh. Well definitely you are more in your head @TAB.
This is part of what makes you!
You are much more patient than say me, I.e: your ability to study, your ability to 'play' on language, your ability to hear a lot in music...well from a far view this is how you come across.
No doubt in person more idiosyncratic levels would appear!! Lol
