The Beer Garden

The Beer Garden

i encourage you all to join me for some casual drinking, social lubrication and light laughter right here in the beer garden.

Oh and before anyone gets up in arms about alcohol and its dangers the main beer on tap is VB or virtual beer

beer is the third most commonly consumed drink in the world behind water and tea

why not share the worlds joy with friends

@TAB. Less than a decade younger than me. But we still got raised in the 70's when the clothes were bad. It's a cringe and a laugh looking back on old photos of the times.

Re: The Beer Garden

I still have the piano played here @TAB. My son plays. But he refuses to play any Neil Young or Credence for me.
And my music I play when he's not here - coz supposedly - my music sucks. Lol

Re: The Beer Garden

Hi @Former-Member

I had a friend go through IVF - she was successful - I am not sure how long it all took but it is hard on the system

My dd is a miracle - which is why we adopted - and then - after years of failing to conceive and then failing to maintain the pregnancy - success - but that was so hard - something I still think about at times but would not have liked to go through again - I didn't have IVF though - but for my dd I had a cervical suture

Therapists - I do believe they wish the best for us - I liked my previous therapist - but she had two small children and often had to change appointments - and this was okay with me but I think now it was a little disruptive - I worked when my kids were young but only doing temporary or emergency bookkeeping -

My new therapist works full time - of course she will have holidays etc - but then - I don't have to go often - I find myself working hard in the spaces between - and this time - ah - it's 10 days since I saw her and that feels like a long time -

But each therapist has a different framework - I saw a male therapist for years and he did cathartic hypnosis - this worked well - and now my dentist hypnotises me - so this is colleraral positive spin-off

And my previous therapist worked with Awareness and Calm - which I realise now that I could deal with the Awareness easily but being calm about it is a different idea - I am someone who has to go through all the stress and then find a better place - I have my breathing and relaxation but sometimes I have to think about the hard stuff and wish I could cry or wish I wasn't. But it does pass.

Would life was easier

All the best with all you are dealing with
