Re: The Beer Garden
@Former-Member. My 9 year old is a maltese shitzu cross. She was my sisters but when she moved she couldn't keep her. So she came to live with my boy and I. Then I got a Labrador cross at 7 weeks old. Not living in the best conditions. She's now 3. Then last year we took in a Jack Russell cross who'd been at our local shelter for 3 months. He is now 7 but we are trying to re home him - as he really tries to dominate my older girl and there are too many fights. And it is causing caos for me and my two doggy girls. But it's hard to place an older dog. Everyone seems to want a puppy. He's such a gentle affectionate fella. He just needs to be an only dog. Volunteer. We are trying to get a short term co-op open. It will be Christmas themed. The aum being to showcase our regional produce and products and to get more people to buy local - rather than driving and spending their money in the bigger regional centre. So heaps to finalise - as we hope to open the first week in November. Initially opening weekends abd then closer to Christmas - every day. Locals can order their ham or cherries etc - their Christmas foid through us and it will be delivered to our shop on a set day for them to pick up. Small home based craft people who can make things specifically for Christmas. So we will put a small percentage on the prices - purely to cover electricity etc and insurance. Non Profit. All run by volunteers. I'm excited.
