@TAB, I don't know why no music... just that I live a different lifestyle now. One of my best friends can't believe it... she can't understand how I could change so much. Me neither! I still like music but I'm attracted to very peaceful, quiet times. The sounds of wind and rain and birds singing.

@TAB, it was totally my idea to stop listening to a lot of music. It happen organically. I didn't stop drinking or anything like that. You know... I suppose I do miss it. we have a music festival coming up in our little town. Folk, indi, blues, alternative sort of. Do you like contemporary folk?

She has been ill, injured, and the worst knocked about by WH issues .... he tried to convince her last year that she wasn't smart enough to graduate .... wasn't as bright as the others .... and that was okay ....
It was hogwash, and she knew it .... hadn't recovered from 2 X dislocated knees and worked her butt off to stay in school ..... to be coddled out of it by a dad who didn't know her well enough to know she's a high achiever struggling under a heap of :pile_of_poo: that wasn't her own doing .....
We also don't know where it's set to go with WH across the next year .... better D3 gets graduated, wings on, and can fly free if she needs to ....
Anyway ,... nuff for now ... g'night ..... 😴💤😴💤💤💤

oh dear, people maybe ..haha .. hmm were a few good ones over the last 20yrs after it came back in fashion re acoustic/solo etc, one guy annoys me from 1998 cos can't remember name mean re aust, will delve.. @Sahara ... The Seekers ?? ..lol

I hope your daughter will graduate... I hope she is happy. Such a lot of pressure on the young ones with study and everything. i really feel for them. It was not quite so bad in my day. especially for a girl!

Oh @TAB, the seekers were absolutely cool. And did a lot for Australian music in their time, no joke.
But, yeah, I don't actually know much about fold music. I wish i knew more. I just let go and enjoy the moment.
