Something’s not right

Lost

Lost

Lately I have being going through a really tough time. Dealing with depression that is more intense then what I’ve ever felt before. Suicidal though have been running through my head on a daily. Ive resorted to self harming and I have no idea why I thi k it will help. I ended up

in the hospital a few weeks ago due to a massive anxiety attack. And now I’ve been finding it really hard to stay connected with friends. I’ve have 0 energy to even get out of bed and I know i have people around me that want and are willing to help I feel I can’t message them because I don’t want to keep bothering them. I’m starting to lose hope that this pain in my head is going to go away. I just want to be feel normal again

Hey @Member007

You have already made a positive step by coming onto Sane Forums. That's good 🙂 and it takes effort to do this.

Have you considered professional help?

Re: Lost

hello @Member007 and welcome!
It sounds like your going through a pretty rough time there and im glad you have reached out for supports here.

Can i ask if you have the support of your gp or a psychologists, and if the hospital gave your some resources as well on how to manage once you were discharged?
Im glad to hear that you have people around you that care even if your not up for reaching out to them, but it might be worth having a chat to one or two close relations so that you can get some support that you deserve.
Hope to hear back from you soon

Re: Lost

@Member007 It's an awful feeling - being lost.

Do you have a psychologist or psychiatrist ? Or other mental health support? It may be time to contact them and let them know how poorly you are doing. Are you on medication? You may need a higher dose of a new med. Talk to your psychiatrist.

Often when in our deepest depression, we fear overburdening our friends or family. But I bet they would love to hear from you and would help you anyway they are able.

You've reached out here, why not reach out one step further and talk to your friends .
