Where’s my mojo

Where’s my mojo

I like to quilt, I have a couple of projects on the go which will be gifts so there is a timeline on them.

I used to love the gym, lifting weights, I even have a room set up at home with a lot of equipment.

I used to run, I’ve completed many 1/2marathons, too many to count, and 1 full marathon.

I used to ride a road racing bike, riding 3-4 times a week, 1 of them being a VERY long ride, up to 70kms. I started riding when I wrecked my feet doing the full marathon, plantar fasciitis recovers better if you give your feet a proper rest.

My fitness and diet have majorly fallen off the wagon in the past 12 to 18 months.

I have completely lost my mojo, I have fallen out of love with all the things that

made me feel good and excited about

life.

Is there anyone here who has set some life goals for themselves and has any advice on how to put the steps in place to achieve them?? I have so much I want to do, particularly getting back into everything above, but I just can’t find any motivation to achieve anything.

I feel like my life is just an existence, I don’t feel like I am “living” anymore, just existing, but I can’t find a way to change this.

How do I find my way back to everything that used to bring me so much joy instead of just sitting here feeling so overwhelmed??

Hi Razzle @Razzle I can only speak for myself but it is the dreaded medications. I used to go to the gym and run too was super fit but now my body can only handle qi gong, tai chi and yoga ... doesn't exactly get the adrenaline pumping but I still enjoy it.

I am too tired to run simply too tired even though in my head I would love too. Soo there you go I need my meds to stay sane but they deaden me down. Seems you cannot have it all.

Thanks @Bunniekins. I can’t blame meds because I don’t take any.

I just can’t find the passion for anything anymore
