Community Guidelines update

Hi everyone,

We have recently been working on reviewing our current Community Guidelines. You will have seen a new policy was put in place to further support the safety of individual members and the forum community more broadly. Alongside this process we have made some small updates to the guidelines as well - you can have a read through the guidelines here.

Whats changed?

Research: We’ve made it clear to prospective researchers that advertising research in the forums is not permitted.

Privacy: We’ve added a link to our Privacy Policy.

Respect: We’ve clearly outlined that, talking about or alluding to another member, Community Manager, or Moderator in a disrespectful manner is not permitted. We’ve also made a statement about respecting diverse values and beliefs in the forums.

Feedback, complaints, and compliments: We’ve provided information on providing feedback, making a complaint, or complimenting the service.

Membership: We’ve clearly specified that holding more than one forums account is not permitted.

General: We’ve made it clear that our guidelines apply to post content and your username.

Anonymity: We’ve made it clearer that disclosing your name in the forums is not permitted.

We hope that this will add to the safety and supportive culture of the forums.
