Single and dating with MI

Hi guys, I am havent been posting much lately as I have been absorbed in an internet romance for the last three months or so. The guy (who I met on an internet dating site) lived in a different city so we only met a few times, but there was lots of phone calls and especially texting. He ended the relationship rather suddenly a week or so ago with no real reason. I have been a bit stressed about it all and wondering whether to give on line dating another go or give it a miss for a while.

I would be interested to hear of others' experiences, whether it is on line dating or other ways of meeting a potential partner.

You are %100 fine, complete and enjoyable... Exactly as you are - as far as I'm concerned...

You are your own woman... I'd hate to see something bad or uncomfortable happen to you...

Have you got anyone else you can talk to for advice or counsel?

Thank you Eude, I know that you care very much about me, & if we lived near each other & could meet up for lunch, I would be so excited. But, in saying that, we can not, I mean it though.

I am not going to meet in person this man. I will let him know by E-mail tonite. I am in no hurry, & RSVP have given me 6 free stamps. How awesome hey! I am blessed!

I may even see if I can make friends with a woman, & we can do some thing together, I am not Bi-Sexual. I just would like a lady friend to have fun with, & to talk to It's so lovely to have you there caring about me Eude, I know you mean it, & it's from your heart. I believe any woman that you give your heart to, will have a wonderful loving, & devoted, man/partener, in her life!!

hi @Former-Member there you are! id been wondering where you had gotten to!

i mustve missed your last post but i think your decision to not see him might be the best idea. if you already dont feel comfortable then perhaps your not suited as well as youd thought. dont worry theres plenty of other fish in the sea either as friends or in a romantic relationship.

i was quite worried about you @Former-Member i had posted on your other thread to check in on you as well.

i am glad youve got your friend from the US to talk to as well. yep im the same ill go ages without a phone call then they come non stop!
i was okish until today. was an upsetting day (is on my thread)

Men are my main source of social support. I do treasure my relationships with woman though. However there are differences that need to be considered when men and woman interact.

The worst case scenario for myself - is not having a genuine friend to catch up with, share things with, and support, comfort and validate one another through whatever woes we may be faced with.

So social anxiety. Feel shunned or ostracized from the pack. It eats me alive aye.
