I have severe anxiety and prior to that panic attacks! I'm getting pulpurtations just near my heart but more the nerve next to it! This a new symptom and its scared me so much. As soon as it happens I go into panic mode, almost like prior panic attacks.
I've had heart traces and blood and everything is okay apparently. I just wish this would stop I felt like I was making progress and along comes this!!! I know this will ruin my recovery I'm just so over it all Atm.

i have health anxiety too @Blue012
medications can be really tricky but sometimes they are worth it. you just need to try a few first and get thr right dosage as well.
i would suggest speaking to your gp though or when you see your new psychiatrist bring up these sysmptoms as they would have a good idea of whats happening too. its really good youve got some new supports too, really amazing i hope they are helpful for you

I have an issue with trusting gps and can panic just seeing one! I wish I could elaborate at this time but can't really on a public forum... I.know some medications are great but if I.get one small symptom that may not even be related! I stop. Ahhhhhh as you can imagine its difficult.

Re: Need to literally get this off my chest!
good gps are a special breed. @Blue012
I first felt I could trust one particular gp .. he was so courteous about me having
"white coat anxiety" I had not thought of it, and think with me it was more general hypervigilance.
SO it is a thing, and doctors who are aware and take it into consideration worth their weight ...
Take Care @Blue012

Hi Blue012, Thank you for sharing your post, I hear you on the unexplained health thingy and the constant worry associated with that.. I have a similar issue but its my brain "everything is fine, im just stressed"...... is what im told... at the moment, Ive just cut my goals back to a day at a time and have accepted that right now, this is the path my life is not but its not forver, it cant be.... ive worked really hard to find a great GP and an amazing counsellor and finally gave in and have started medication for anxiety...
I really hope you find a way to manage it, i know how hard it is....i hope some of my comments are helpful... even jsut knowing im not the only one is helpful Take care
