What happened @Former-Member ? Can you talk about it?

@Former-Member. You don;t need to say anything.
Are there anythings that work to distract you - things that have worked in the past?
I find doing something simple, but that I need to concentrat on a little helps me sometimes. Things like hand sewing or knitting or colouring in. I get absorbed into what i'm doing and after 10 minutes I realise I'm not thinking of those thoughts anymore.
How about a short walk, or a bath or shower? I also like watching a good comedy. Even if I'm too distraught to laugh, it still takes my mind off a bit.
Or we could chat here about anything.

@Former-Member. Nice? No. But it was my first day joining in the 5km ParkRun in town. I walked the whole 5km course. Was sore, miserable, full of self doubt and loathing, lots of negative self talk and close to tears for most of it. But I made it. I finished it. And I'm paying the price. My body aches. My feet don't like to touch the ground. lol. Don't want to think about what I will feel like tomorrow. And I haven't decided if I will do it again next week.
It's frustrating when calming tecniques that usually work don't. But good that you are distracted by the tele.
