I am- Overwhelmed & Traumatised I need your support!!
I have realised why I am like I am, I have had one traumatic life changing experience after another in my life. I looked in the mirror & went into shock as I didn't recognize myself. I have been running on near empty now for many years. The whole experience which led up to the Major life saving Spinal Surgery, which I had 15 month ago, has drained & frightened me so much that I am concerned about everything now. My family & any friends I ever had are distant, & have no sincere care or understanding for me, they do not care. I am all alone & not knowing what to do about anything, the nitmares, anxiety attackes, & feelings of not coping, can be crippling? Can you understand & relate to what I have shared, & would you like to help in some way, by sharing anything that I can use too, that will help?

@outlander I am not too sure what the time was when I feel asleep to be truthful? I did so much this morning & I never got unwell or in agony from body pain. I was tired just from doing a lot which is normal. I am so excited about my progress in the last few weeks, since getting proper help from my new GP,& doing what he advised for me to do. Even just having a GP that is actually interested in me personally & I'm not just a number is so healing in it's self Outlander. I have had only 2 GP in my past that were similar to the one, & I thrived & was doing gr8 from their advise & care. I honestly started to think there was no hope for me to improve recently. That's how low I was getting, & it made me very frightened & anxious. Now I know that there is hope no matter how big or how small its wonderful, as I was in the pit not long ago & now I m out of the pit, & improving both mentally, emotionally, & physically day by day. I am feeling like I'm getting a fresh start seriously. I am eating better, sleeping better, looking better, & starting to care about myself & tis house again. My energy level is improving, & my body pain is not making me depressed, or as limited as it is not as bad as it was just few weeks ago?

@outlander I am feeling human again & not like one foot in the grave, if you know what I mean. I purchased on line some new cloths, boots, slippers, under wear. Perfume, cleaning things, items my fur babies needed, plus extra healthy food that the GP suggested. I have cleaned up some things in this house that needed doing (still heaps to go) but its a start, a whole new routine, & I will stay with it as it works for me without hurting me, or frustrating me like not so long ago. I am seeing myself in a positive way now, not negative & hopeless, & helpless, & so crippled like before I started seeing this ne GP. Its such a big change in a short time, I felt sort strange for a few days, as I was so used to being a negative, hurting mess since long before the major surgery , 16 months ago. I really can not put it all into words. Its sorta like I was a me that I was frightened to be, now I am a me that is starting to be happy & happy about being alive. Does that make sense?

@outlander Thank you outlander, I appreciate our opinion. I think maybe to me I must have gotten healed from the bout of Anxiety & depression through being here & staying in SF even tho I have been in such a shocking frightening condition & lack of human help outside of SF. Also, its taken over 12 months to start to emotionally heal from the trauma of that frightening diagnosis of my spinal injury & operation & not knowing how I was going to live with it all, & no one to even hold me & hug me. That took a big toll on me in many ways. Then actually living it & trying to believe that I could survive & it all without any help other that Doctor visits. Then trying to cope with the responsibility of not surrendering my Fur Babies & keeping them like I promised I would in my heart. Plus trusting in GOD when it was so dame hard to, but I never gave up, & never will. Now having a GP at last that I trust & is doing the right thing for me & actual cares, is sometimes what is so healing in its self that things that are not material, & are emotion just start to disappear, & I now see my real self, & I see what I have been going through has not weakened me, it has made me stronger & I know who I finally am! Boy can I get deep, but that's how I see it at the moment anyway! xo I suppose I could have make it more compact & simple but I am proud of myself at this moment, & I think I am going to cry, not sad tears! xo

Trying to cope with everything yourself including surgury and diagnoses is hard and you shouldnt have to go it alone. Im glad you stayed. I was worried once you had left because you didn't have any supports. You should be proud of yourself @Former-Member youve been able to accomplish alot and finally good things are happening for you and i hope they continue to stay good. Of course youll have ups and downs but i hope more good days then bad now.

I love you @outlander Your friendship has been one thing I hung onto since I first met you in SF & it just happened must have been meant to be hey! You & I are similar yet we do have our own uniqueness too. Friendship like ours is not easy to find, & supporting each other give strength & feeds our need to be understood, & have someone/some others, who care & not brush us off. Yet it is born from adversity, sorta strange, yet without the adversity, the friendship would not be as strong! xo

@outlander I have my food shopping online, being delivered. I am going to do some much needed washing, & make a cake, I enjoyed the one I made last time. I am going to make a cake on a regular basis now as I was not cooking for myself for years, even tho I ate healthy food. It was healthy & fast. Now I am making cooking healthy & yummy food like a cake or a desert something positive & rewarding & not a tiresome task like I saw it to be for so long. I am eating more variety & cakes are not poison or rubbish food like I was making them out to be. I am making an Orange Poppy Seed cake with cream cheese frosting & its delicious, & made me content with a smile on my face. So if that's bad for me, then I'm a monkey's uncle! Silly saying actually, isn't now, hmmmm? But you know what I mean. Have you got anything fun or relaxing planed for tomorrow @outlander? xo
