Fragile

Fragile

For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.

Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

Some desert reggae to bop to.

Been reminded of my time in Amsterdam squat as I met another half Dutchy who went back to the motherland. I got there the year before ... those were the days ... and yes Bob was big back then .... which Bob?

@Appleblossom Bob Marley, Bob Dylan ..... ??!!

Hope today is nice to you and you get to do your drumming thing. Love the music you shared from the desert.

Love being able to share and connect my music and groundedness sides. You have helped that from the airiness of the internet. @eth

@Maggie Posting your mindmap from Values thread.

It will help me simplify my figuring out which monkeys belong in which circus.

Not sure how much overlap there are between these. My OT has suggested I dont overthink in her little job I have for the fortnight. Just fill in the questionnaire.

Re: Fragile

I love both diagrams @Appleblossom Certainly makes you think more broadly about emotions and feelings we have.

Like @TAB I learned most english out and about, it was a very Aussie street style, not at home.

I learned swear and sex words, but did not use them much, then cleaned up my language as a teen at work, then even more at uni.

Re: Fragile

Maybe that is another reason why I dont have the same readymade words and thoughts and assumptions about feelings. Most of what I said was asking a question here or there. WHere was the toilet where was the school? I was quiet a lot, and at uni so quiet I spoke behind my hand. . I was not aware til teacher pointed it out and then of course I was mortified. Life was always about pushing through awkward feelings. Reslience does not even begin to cover it.

Mother was too tired and it was not anger, but care that made me shut up. No room for being anger or cheeky. Then told I had to find my anger, but ...

Life is too messy no matter how hard I try.

Very sad at the moment. Need a hug.

Just had an interaction with son very shakey right now.

@Zoe7 So very special that we still talk after these years.
