Fragile

Fragile

For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.

Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

Re: Fragile

Focussing on art helps me balance my senses and interests. Don't wanna get stuck in too narrow a lane.

Thanks friends @Shaz51 @Zoe7 @Till23 @rav3n @Dimity

Nature is important balance for me @Appleblossom, however I also enjoy art and can get "lost" in some pieces.

Re: Fragile

Tired, so very very tired of being misunderstood. Even when I reach out and care and am kind. Others seem to be so assertive I feel bruised and crushed. Not sure I want to stand up all the time. Not sure I should keep taking on others shame and cultural injustices. Not sure how to protect my softness.

Grateful for a small group I have found where there is strength in music making and gentleness.

Love the Streeton @Appleblossom .

Arts can be balm for the soul

Sorry you're feeling bruised and crushed. I'm not sure I take on others' battles but try to bear witness to cultural injustices. There are so many, and the taint has crept into the election campaign - at least overtly. Perhaps it was there all along.

I hope you can enjoy the autumn sunshine

Hey @Appleblossom I'm sorry to hear that's going on. Are you and your son okay?

Re: Fragile

Hi @Appleblossom as I said on another thread you are so open and curious about cross-cultural things.

You are supportive of others. I think it's a bit hard in text based communications to understand the nuances sometimes. There isn't that same back and forth to be able to clarify points during the conversation. I am very grateful for your interactions and support. Especially that you stand up for others.

Re: Fragile

Oh @Appleblossom hoping you and your son are OK. It's good the police were decent enough. Steady as she goes, don't let false accusations rock the boat.

Take care. We understand if you need some quiet time.
