Hey, @Oaktree . I have to admit, once in a blue moon, I wake with a feverish, insatiable, craving

for pink fairy floss. Got so bad I climbed up in the ceiling one night, and hooked into a couple

of pink bats.. I hear you. . Keep my day job. LoL. Well mate hot one here today sis.

Say.. did your end up getting an air con, or just waiting for winter specials. Bit less demand then.

I recon this summer has just been a warning of what's in store next summer. Need to tool up for it

now mate. Don't leave it till summers on the doorstep again hey. I planted a heap of trees about

8 years ago around this place and now the house sits in shade mostly. Even so, there are a few

days of the year, when an air con is a must, even here. I'll do the winter prune in a couple of months. Still volunteering at the hospital mate.? Well . . take care Sis.. Big bro tones.

No money for aircon right now but as soon as I can I will get it installed. Not living through another summer like this one. I am expecting a payment of 20k mid year so I will do it then and get solar on my roof to run it.

OH @Dimity .. Sorry mate. Think my rotten sense of humour just got me in trouble somewhere

I suspect.. Dimity. . there is nowhere I can see where you have ever intruded.

But to add to that, I really enjoy the chats we have. Funny thing is. I picked a couple of mangoes

just an hour ago and was thinking of posting you that I'm using the Dimity attack posture technique on them.

So mate.. Please don't let me be the bug on your windshield. Far as I'm concerned, your a lady of refinement, with good social skills and fine manners. . . . unlike me who tries to brighten the

house up, only to find , bright pink paint can be a bit much for some folks. I have a bit of an intellectual disability

as well as your run of the mill, garden variety autism, no filter or horizontal adjust dial.

Yes yes yes.. @Emelia8 .. isn't a hot air balloon just the best thing ever.. For me it was the total silence.

I took a ride over the Atherton tablelands . In the palm of the clouds across an emerald ocean

of green.

Maybe next year we both should do it again. Prove to ourselves there are ways of just, leaving

all the white noise to others to squabble over.

The hat. Well I'm not proud of her, but I should, at this point tell you that I do have a dog. Well..

I think its a dog. The people that took over my farm agreed to look after him. Well that lasted about 3 months. He roles around in horse poo and mud. Has hair like a woolie mammoth, appetite and size to match.

But worse than that, he has picked up my bad manners. Goes by the name of, Swamp Thing.

They rang me in desperation and so, on my porch it lives.

I think its a him. Just too much hair and doesn't have a sexual orientation as a hint. All ladies

and gentlemen were subjected to the same humiliation regardless. A true rainbow dog.

I'm a slow learner and would forget my work boots outside on occasion. Hand on heart, all you

get back for change is the steal caps and even they have little dents in them.

Now I just remembered I am on fragile thread I think... I better back peddle my muddy boots out

nice and quietly.

Plus . . I'm hungry, I showed Swamp Thing the picture of Hannah so she see's how a lady behaves. I think its just made him hungry too . . . LoL.. 😋.

@tonys Your Swamp Thing sounds like a character, I expect we would get along just fine. So are you a retired farmer? I grew up on farms, my dad having worked on farms when I was little. Then he eventually got a small fine wool merino sheep farm of his own. My late husband also had a farming background over in WA, prior to a 20yr Navy career. So we ended up getting a small superfine wool sheep farm too, before we eventually sold and moved to warmer climes when he wanted to retire.

Yes I agree about the hot air balloons. Thats what I loved too. The only noise was the reassuring sound of the gas keeping the balloon inflated. It was all quite surreal. Loved it. I went for a ride over my small home town at the time, in the Southern Tablelands.
