Fragile

Fragile

For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.

Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

Re: Fragile

Haha love love love yorkshire pudding...

Of course I did..

My ma and pa (now I sound as if I am out west in USA)

used to make it all of the time..

Mum used to make it exactly like that in a baking tray..

Served with roast beef...roast vegetables of many varieties..roast gravy made from meat juices..

yes christmas pudding home made at christmas along with home made fruit mince pies..

My now husband is english also and loves yorkshire puddings.

We make them in the little muffin trays..

I visited Yorkshire when I went back to the UK in 2017 and went to Yorkshire..

I shall post some pictures for you.

I was able to see the house that my father was born in....the great church where my great grandparents and other family members were buried in a very old cemetery garden across the road..Saddleworth interesting history read..

The church was rebuilt ...originally a cathedral..

off to get ready for another blasted medical appointment where I have to do copious amounts of meditating and ohms before I go due to my unhealthy experiences of past places ...

Will write to you later..

love to you @Appleblossom xx

Rest as much as you possibly can. Have faith @Appleblossom that God will take care of your boy. I wish I could give you a hug. Life, arghhh it certainly throws some curve balls. Holding you in my heart, you too @Sophia1 💚

Re: Fragile

Hello lovely @Appleblossom

Yes you would most definitely be in exhaused dazed mode and beyond even.

Your son is grappling with his beliefs and chaotic mind and past experiences..

your being there for him is reinforcing the fact that he matters...he is intelligent..he has much to offer the world..

it never feels like it for us...it does make a difference from what I have read and heard from lived experience of people on this website..

rest...I have probably written too much as I usually do...

You are important in all of this as well and you matter as well..

You and I have been on the forums on and off for about the same time..

We got to here..

That means something doesn't it..

No need for response..

Sophia

It is a learning curve...

@Appleblossom

We would have been there in the 1980's and after as a family.

I have been back there many times since.. all over..prefer the less touristy places now..

used to be a lovely untouched area of the state..

just to let you know have had family member on phone for over two hours now...re ............... told off for interrupting..

as well as far more which I have not heard of before..

We can only do so much...

We are human.. as well as exhausted..

Time for you to rest whilst he is in hospital...notice nature...animals..everything that is real not surreal and breathe that in ...That part of this confusing world is real ...it is the world...

You are a part of that real world...

love bella

Hello @Anastasia

I should not still be on here at this time I should be in bed attempting to unwind and settle for another night of hopeful sleep that only comes randomly and at odd hours..

How are you managing?

Re: Fragile

Dear @Sophia1

I can imagine your head is consumed with thoughts, two hours of listening, worrying, not being able to communicate. You would be beyond exhausted. I'm so sorry. You are an amazing Mother.

I hope you settled and slept soundly.

Sending you live and I hope some light for today 💛💚🌄

Sending you some love and light too @Appleblossom, hoping you are coping as ok as you can 💚💛🌄

Re: Fragile

No proper sleep @Anastasia

Husband started his mid early hours of morning irregular snoring..

if it was a constant pattern and tone level I could breathe along with the snores...

not that simple..

moved into other bedroom...woken up by husband with a cup of coffee and a reminder that I had a therapist appointment..

Am in auto pilot mode which I know yourself and appleblossom are fully aware of..

I will pass on my love to appleblossom and make a very brief post as she does not need my epic essays..

take care and thank you Anastasia..💜
