Fragile

Fragile

For a while I have tried to find a thread I had started when I joined the forum that could be a "home" thread for me.

Being busy about the forum has been a coping style, where I can acknowledge all my different life experiences that had been silenced. Possibly do some good and prevent things from getting worse. Like the little boy with the finger in the dyke.

Thanks all

I was worried the giphy link would not work.

and of course I missed a lot of people, so sorry. Sometimes I cant get the avatar to come up or some other reason. Please dont read anything into it. I just have a brain like a sieve, not really techno and also it is not always clear from posting or avatar.

Happy IWD @Former-Member @Bimby2 @Owlunar @Lotusgirl and any who readthis and identify as a woman.

Re: Fragile

im glad to hear your alright @Appleblossom sounds like you've had quite a busy day today. hope your appointments went well and feel ok after them. I know it can be a little tough sometimes.

urgh yes people are going crazy over certain times. 😐 im lucky that mum brought 2 of the large packets the other day and she gave me one packet and kept one for herself as well. she sometimes works behind the scenes at shops before the doors open so managed to get 2 packets before anyone else!

Im alright atm, mostly just tired. still have headaches but may have found the source if my chiro helps with the pain within the next few sessions. fingers crossed theres improvement!
its a busy week this week full of appointments between myself and pop that have been putt off cause ive had the kids and still catching up on things from the long school holiday break as well.

Fingers Crossed. @outlander Headaches are complex, but working the cranial sacral area in the right way can make a lot of difference. Good Luck with it.

Learning to keep a comfortable level of busy is hard for me, as I expect a lot from myself, but dont even realise it. Well in some ways I realise it but not quite sure which bits to go hard on and which bits to ease up.

My cleaner said she was surprised by the panic and did not think Australians were like that. My response has been "not in my lifetime". I believe during and after the wars there were shortages.

Re: Fragile

Back and neck bad today. Consoling myself with garden and watching movies on sbs.

Fringe Dwellers 1986.

Read the book at school, and would have loved to go to the movie in 1986, but it was my horror year, the only movie we went to was exhubs choice "Back to the Future". NOt that I knew it Fringe Dwellers had been made, far too busy to keep my eye on cinema.

Had a message on my phone StPats day, thanking me for all I had done for my ex step daughter (from her biol mum).

Also enjoyed Icelandic green activist movie Woman at War. Saw there is interesting doco about Lakota women so will look for that too.

Def Fragile today.
