Hello, @Bunniekins, @Former-Member, @Snowie, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Faith-and-Hope, @Zoe7, @Former-Member, @OhanaSystem, @Jojo2, @Former-Member, @soul, @Appleblossom, @Shaz51, @outlander, @Former-Member, @Mazarita, @eth, @CheerBear, @Adge, @MDT, @Sophia1, @Silenus, @eudemonism, @TAB, @KobeCat and anyone else who pops by.

This is my special space and for now i will only talk here while i make myself feel safe.

For those tagged, it is because I connected with you on my previous profile. It is still going through the phase of being permenantly deactivated.

If you realise who I am or even if you dont, please do not mention my previous name for the sake of my sense of safety.

I am not up to talking about the specifics of my reason for changing but the basics are I felt I was in danger.

Anyway I will be sticking to just this thread till I feel okay to re-engage in others.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Really upset at the moment and not sure what to do?

My mother just rang me and basically told me that I'm a bad parent because I won't move out of the current house I live in and stay with her until we get a house closer to my partners place all because she doesn't like my friend that we live with. Now she is saying if I don't move and stay with her until we get a house she will go to court and take my son from me this won't just uproot my son from school but also his family that he is use to seeing regularly because she lives in a different state. Now I am worried because while I know she won't get him because children services were ''keeping an eye on us' when I lived with her when he was first born and stopped when we moved out of her house what if they agree with her and put him in care I have only had bad experience in care when I was a child I don't want him to have the same.

Also having him and the need to protect him is what keeps me alive literally if I didn't have him I wouldn't be here today I just really not sure what to do now

Who you choose to live with is your choice @Former-Member It seems like your mother is trying to control you and that is not right. If you are caring for your son and there are no issues then you have nothing to worry about - it is emotional blackmail Hon and it is not ok. You do not deserve to be treated like that. So sorry she is doing this to you - stand your ground - you and your son are what are important here - not the misguided opinions of your mother!

Re: BabyDragon's Den

I get that @Zoe7, and I know how manipulative my mother is.

But I more worried that once they start looking into it they might decide that I can't look after him because of my health both mental and physical. I've been in and out of hospital for 2 years, November last year I stopped breathing and they had to resuscitate because of my asthma, and I've been to hospital a few times to get treatment for sh (my son didn't know I went to hospital)

I've been trying really hard to ignore sh urges managed to go three months but it's been a really bad time for me and it just becomes so overwhelming that I can't ignore it

Re: BabyDragon's Den

I get all that @Former-Member and also know this is a really tough month for you so all those feelings would be piling on top of each other. All you can do is try to resist those SH thoughts now and be there for your son. If you are taking care of him then that is what matters - you also have to take care of yourself here though Hon. Try not to let your mother use her manipulative words to affect how you raise your son and definitely do not let her into your head where it can play havoc with your own sense of self - you are doing everything you need to do to look after yourself and your son and that is enough

Re: BabyDragon's Den

They really are piling up @Zoe7, it makes it worse when she knows this is a hard month for me she doesn't know why but she knows it is still she adds to it.

While I know she is manipulative that's all she has been for as long as I can remember so it's hard for me to not let her get in my head

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Yeah I get that @Former-Member - so hard to keep those thoughts at bay when you are being threatened by your mother in such a way also - but you can do it Hon - and we know this is a super tough month for you and are here to support you. Keep reaching out as you have been doing - hopefully it helps to get some of this out of your head and written out and also having people here who want to listen.
