BabyDragon's Den

Hello, @Bunniekins, @Former-Member, @Snowie, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Faith-and-Hope, @Zoe7, @Former-Member, @OhanaSystem, @Jojo2, @Former-Member, @soul, @Appleblossom, @Shaz51, @outlander, @Former-Member, @Mazarita, @eth, @CheerBear, @Adge, @MDT, @Sophia1, @Silenus, @eudemonism, @TAB, @KobeCat and anyone else who pops by.

This is my special space and for now i will only talk here while i make myself feel safe.

For those tagged, it is because I connected with you on my previous profile. It is still going through the phase of being permenantly deactivated.

If you realise who I am or even if you dont, please do not mention my previous name for the sake of my sense of safety.

I am not up to talking about the specifics of my reason for changing but the basics are I felt I was in danger.

Anyway I will be sticking to just this thread till I feel okay to re-engage in others.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Hi @Former-Member,

Sorry you are going through this. I am assuming SEP program is some sort of special program that assists students?

Has your son been tested? You can ask the school to arrange testing for your son. If they are recommending him for a program then they should be doing this. If he comes out as having some sort of learning difficulty, then he can get funding through the school.

It does no mean your son is dumb at all. I have taught alot of students with learning difficulties and they are certainly not dumb. They just learn differently. They might take a little longer to learn something, but they do learn it.

Perhaps you can ring up the school and arrange another meeting for when you feel a bit better. Even if you have a list of questions written down that you want answered. Perhaps if not a meeting then maybe you can email your questions through to someone at the school.

Sorry if this is overwhelming for you, I have put my teacher hat on!!

Hi @Bunniekins glad it is going well for you and you should be proud

@Snowie, it makes sense what you are saying it wouldn't surprise me if he has a learning disability as we have family history of autism, aspergers, dyslexic and others like it they said then next step would be to send a letter to the gp recommending a paediatric assessment

@Former-Member

Hi, I hope you & your son are making some positive progress you are both in my prayers. @whitedog gave you some gr8 advise & input, she is very knowledgable, & learned in the teaching profession.

I have a very postive report concerning my Precious Dog Esther. She is healing now, all went well. after a very stressful start. I had enough money for the Vet, & he was very fair & helped me, with Esthers road to recovery. I am in need of rest & healing myself, so its my turn to try & at least, heal from this Flu which has lingered for far too long. I have been quite unseattled in my emotions, with my Esther near fatal experience. I must say its made me a tad more concious about my Fur Babies getting sick, or hurt. But, thats life, isn't it. I will just take it, one day at a time, if I can, in my thoughts.

@outlander & I stayed up until after 12pm last nite talking, & actually having some much needed fun in SF, I needed it badly, I thought I had lost my joy? Looks like over tiredness can be ok sometimes, in the right company! 🙂

Love & BIG Hugs!

Bella & Fur Babies! XXXXXOOOOO & More!
