BabyDragon's Den

Hello, @Bunniekins, @Former-Member, @Snowie, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Faith-and-Hope, @Zoe7, @Former-Member, @OhanaSystem, @Jojo2, @Former-Member, @soul, @Appleblossom, @Shaz51, @outlander, @Former-Member, @Mazarita, @eth, @CheerBear, @Adge, @MDT, @Sophia1, @Silenus, @eudemonism, @TAB, @KobeCat and anyone else who pops by.

This is my special space and for now i will only talk here while i make myself feel safe.

For those tagged, it is because I connected with you on my previous profile. It is still going through the phase of being permenantly deactivated.

If you realise who I am or even if you dont, please do not mention my previous name for the sake of my sense of safety.

I am not up to talking about the specifics of my reason for changing but the basics are I felt I was in danger.

Anyway I will be sticking to just this thread till I feel okay to re-engage in others.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

that's good. we have an alter who enjoys baking but i don't know what happened to her, she never comes out anymore.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

i have a friend like that @OhanaSystem, she has 29 in total but sometimes she wont see specific ones for years

Re: BabyDragon's Den

yeah, i think it's common. we have hundreds in our system so coming and going of alters is reallly not unusual though sometimes really frustrating. like we used to have a super helpful one i was very close to who was heaps smart and very professional but also sweet and kind and calming but she's been missing for about 10 years now. i really really miss her.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

i find it weird that i only have 3 possibly 4 while most i know with DID have upwards of 10 alters @OhanaSystem

Re: BabyDragon's Den

the brain cvreates what the brain needs to in order to survive... it's possible you have alters you don't know about, hidden ones; or it may just be that your survival didn't need any extras. it's not weird, and there are definitely others out there who have smaller numbers of alters. there's a lady in the uk naemed jess who has 5 in her system including herself and she's done a lot for did awareness and stuff.

a lot of my alters, too, are likely less ... solid? than yours because there's just less time for them to be out when there's so many. i'm trying to word something i'm too wobbly for, sorry, but i hope that makes some sort of sense.
