BabyDragon's Den

BabyDragon's Den

Hello, @Bunniekins, @Former-Member, @Snowie, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Faith-and-Hope, @Zoe7, @Former-Member, @OhanaSystem, @Jojo2, @Former-Member, @soul, @Appleblossom, @Shaz51, @outlander, @Former-Member, @Mazarita, @eth, @CheerBear, @Adge, @MDT, @Sophia1, @Silenus, @eudemonism, @TAB, @KobeCat and anyone else who pops by.

This is my special space and for now i will only talk here while i make myself feel safe.

For those tagged, it is because I connected with you on my previous profile. It is still going through the phase of being permenantly deactivated.

If you realise who I am or even if you dont, please do not mention my previous name for the sake of my sense of safety.

I am not up to talking about the specifics of my reason for changing but the basics are I felt I was in danger.

Anyway I will be sticking to just this thread till I feel okay to re-engage in others.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

thanks you @Former-Member that is good to know. a lot of places won't deal with child personalities because they don't relate and work in the same way adults do so they won't engage with did folks who're child personality active.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Even people who are experienced with DID have trouble with my littles especially the youngest

Re: BabyDragon's Den

i hear that, @Former-Member. we don't deal with anyone who's super experienced with did but i know working with littles is rarely done by services so i can understand why there would be a disconnect, especially with your littlest one having autism as welll. it definitely sucks though, and it needs to be addressed and handled better.

littles need care too and services need to do a better job of recognising and addressing that.

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Yes @OhanaSystem it would definitely be better if there was some service that specialised working with the littles

Re: BabyDragon's Den

this is something i am working towards, @Former-Member. i'm lucky my psychologist is good with littles and bigs, and the rest of my team are fairly patient. we all very much miss a support worker we used to have who was fantastic with the littles and helped them feel safe.

Crash crash crash is the sound of the waves on the beach
Its the rhythm of my life
Each crash is bigger
Each time it get harder to recover
I feel like i'm slowly drowning
Soon I will not return
Because it will be easier to just stay hurt
