This is my special space and for now i will only talk here while i make myself feel safe.

For those tagged, it is because I connected with you on my previous profile. It is still going through the phase of being permenantly deactivated.

If you realise who I am or even if you dont, please do not mention my previous name for the sake of my sense of safety.

I am not up to talking about the specifics of my reason for changing but the basics are I felt I was in danger.

Anyway I will be sticking to just this thread till I feel okay to re-engage in others.

I understand how triggering it can be when you get a notification for a post or thread that you are trying to avoid @Former-Member - sometimes it is impossible to avoid but other times a little respect for one's feelings is needed also.

If you are using a laptop or desktop computer I can help 'walk you through' how to block notifications....

Hey @Zoe7 thank you - can they be blocked entirely, the 'likes' notifications - or only put into a single email sent once? I want blocked entirely if it's possible?

You can block all 'likes' from all threads but not from a single thread @Former-Member

If you click on your name next to the notification bell - go to 'Your Settings' - under this then go to 'Subscriptions and Notifications' ....then 'Notifications' - under Notifications you will find Likes and a drop-down box where you can choose to get notifications 'Never'....

This is the sequence to make it easier:

Your Name....Your Settings.....Subscriptions & Notifications...Notifications...Never

You can also block entire threads under Subscriptions and Notifications....under 'Subscriptions'

Have a look around at what you can and cannot block or allow and if you have any questions just ask me - probably easier to do one thing at a time - less confusing for us both lol
