BabyDragon's Den

BabyDragon's Den

Hello, @Bunniekins, @Former-Member, @Snowie, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @Faith-and-Hope, @Zoe7, @Former-Member, @OhanaSystem, @Jojo2, @Former-Member, @soul, @Appleblossom, @Shaz51, @outlander, @Former-Member, @Mazarita, @eth, @CheerBear, @Adge, @MDT, @Sophia1, @Silenus, @eudemonism, @TAB, @KobeCat and anyone else who pops by.

This is my special space and for now i will only talk here while i make myself feel safe.

For those tagged, it is because I connected with you on my previous profile. It is still going through the phase of being permenantly deactivated.

If you realise who I am or even if you dont, please do not mention my previous name for the sake of my sense of safety.

I am not up to talking about the specifics of my reason for changing but the basics are I felt I was in danger.

Anyway I will be sticking to just this thread till I feel okay to re-engage in others.

Do they come out often @Former-Member - or more when you are stressed?

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Actually @Zoe7 today was the first time in 4 months I had been controlling them by keeping my emotions underwraps but I lost my grip will probably see them a bit while I get myself together.
The youngest has actually been with me the longest growing up so was like a protection when I was in danger she took over so I didnt experience trauma from the situation but it only worked some of the time there were times where i wanted her to come out but she didnt i learnt to live with them but my partner gets distressed when i switch and has passed this distress to our son so i had to learn to control them so they dont come out but I guess that wont work when im overly distressed.
Pink dragon has been with me since my first attempt to leave she is almost like my inner child that i should have been she helps me by what she does when she is out I dont know how but it calms me and helps me to think. Like today I havent been that close to harming myself in years, but she took over and when i returned i felt lighter for a while at least anyway

Re: BabyDragon's Den

Any way that helps you to stay safe @Former-Member is a good thing - whether that is having an inner child come out to calm you, having a chamomille tea or mindfullness etc. What works for one does not always work for others - so anything that helps I see as a positive.

I think when we are overly distressed it is very difficult to control our emotions - I know I still have great difficulty with this because it becomes both an emotional and physical reaction.

I have enough trouble dealing with myself @Former-Member - the last thing I would need is more of me - no matter what age lol

Re: BabyDragon's Den

@Former-Member Morning BabyDragon I was reading your posts and saw that your youngest is 4 and autistic ... she would not talk much. I know my son didn't talk much at at 4. Bless him he was quiet and held alot in but he was a caring loveable little boy as I am sure she is, if ever she wants to talk I am here. Will be on here on and off throughout the day. Take care. gp.
