Why is suicide not an option

Why is suicide not an option

Guess I'm thinking along these lines but hate saying it. At the moment I have no energy to plan anything just want to be away from myself.

Re: Why is suicide not an option

There are many reasons from an external point of view, but its YOUR reasons that matter. Sometimes we forget them, but I have the idea of a little cave inside which is about my wellbeing and inside I hopd and try and remember the various reasons why it is important for me to live.

I can be gypsylike and one of the issues, though I love the romantic aspects, is the lack of stability of place. Having that for the last 15 years has been very healing for me, but has taken time.

Re: Why is suicide not an option

@Gypsy7 I haven't figured this one out yet. It's an option and it can be a logical one sometimes but then that thought goes up against the fact that it's permanent, that others will be left dealing with the consequences and compassion and love for our loved ones have just as much right as our need or want to suicide. I want to too and who knows, I might eventually, cause sometimes I can't control my behaviour. There are reasons for me to do it, good, logical reasons, but then I have to accept that I will be abandoning people who need me. There have been times when I have been so low that I didn't care about them...my ability to feel was totally shut off. Like I said, I've never figured this one out but I pray everytime that someone is real with me about it. I guess the closest I came to a reason why suicide is not an option is that if you're going to end yourself, you may as well live and be useful to others...you can always suicide another day. Wish I had more for you. I hope you stay.

How do you way up the options though when you become a burden to everyone and you can’t see that you enhance their life at all?

What if it really is about survival of the fittest. Why should others carry my burden. Why can’t I be sacrificed so others can have a better life?

What if I put my hand up and say I wish I had some of your guts and gumption apple. I’ve thought about you lots lately. I feel like right now if I had your perserverence and drive I’d be ok but I don’t. I just don’t. I am weak and pathetic.
