No one understands

Hi @The-red-centaur, I don't hear voices in the way you describe.

But my companion that I live with has some kind of waking dream life that he goes in and out of during days. The way he describes it, he hears voices and meets people he doesn't know in real life in this place. He recognises it as a waking dream of some kind and is pretty active with it, being inventive with ways to get rid of any person or creature who gives him grief. He can do this while being active and aware in the 'normal' world too. He says he kind of enjoys it, though I think I might tend to be just freaked out.

Another thing I have heard about is support groups for people who hear voices. So that you can share experiences and ideas for how to live with this. There are members on the forum who hear voices aside from you. Maybe one of them will find this post and be able to add more. In the meantime, if you were interested in the groups, you might try googling your local area for this.
