Confused and heartbroken
I’ve posted a few times. Over a year ago.
I have had a traumatic childhood. Now married with two children.
About 6 weeks ago, I found violent photos of animated women being raped on his computer.
Turns out, he has a getting with looking at these violent sexual fantasies for the last 20 years.
I didn’t cope and left town with the kids because he had mentioned that he needs to sss someone because he had thoughts about wanting to hurt me and other people sexually.
I have woken up to him having sex with me while I sleep or not respecting my boundaries in the bedroom. But when spoken about it recently, it’s my fault, I beg him and he does respect me.
While I was staying with a close friend, I found out he had a profile on a dating site. He denied it despite it being there in black and white. Further looking and he has a number of other profiles on other getting hook up pages. He is denying it all.
My friend works in mental health and has been talking to a clinician about everything. They suggested I’m in an abusive relationship, he is a narcissist who is manipulating me.
I came home on the proviso that he gets help. He went once & the psych told him that they weren’t concerned with the violent sexual stuff. He never went back. I haven’t spoken to him about it as I want him to do it on his own accord.
I tend to believe that he is a manipulative narcissist but then I think I am just overthinking it all, and overreacting.
