What if?

What if?

I want to create a space where we can use our imaginations...

there are so many of us on here who are so very creative in so many remarkable ways...

I also believe that we are all intelligent in differing aspects of thinking

we support and show compassion to one another

many of us feel different...as though we don't fit in....don't belong...

is this really because of society's way of treating us....stigma...I am not diminishing in any way people's struggles...they are very real...

we have humour...

or is it another phenomena

what if:::

we have travelled here from another zone

we are here to observe the medical profession...I love this one...

we communicate with each other....in the real world?

which is our virtual world?

So what if

willing to add some thoughts? anyone?

Sooohhhhh anyone who wants to put forward an idea....add the far side....who is bored...

What if

I am just adding a few names .....not excluding anyone...just struggling to remember...

@CheerBear @outlander @Zoe7 @NameUnknown @Former-Member @Former-Member @eth @Mazarita @Former-Member@Silenus @Faith-and-Hope @PeppiPatty @Appleblossom @Former-Member @soul @Determined

@eudemonism @Friendconnect

please if joining in add names I have left out...Out of respect I have not included at this time those who are particularly struggling so as not to offend....

Re: What if?

hello @NameUnknown

I am relieved to hear your response ....you are able to rationalise and think it through..

demonstrating to me what great strength and inner awareness of self that you have developed...

aside from this even when we are very strong...at times it is good for us to talk to a third party to release any pent up feelings that we are not aware of...

putting you first...my utmost thoughts...

I have only recently met you and care about you already...you matter flowerpetals...

yes I have always wanted to be able to fly for as long as I can remember...

a strong feeling of autonomy...self...

I went back in my early forties to correct my stroke...pool was at a private house where lady taught swimming...

her favourite was also breaststroke...she told me that I was a natural...I got a certificate for 50 metres...

Re: What if?

Thankyou @Former-Member I have a psych i've been seeing for three years now i have really good repore with her but i still have trouble disclosing some aspects of my childhood. I actually see her next week.
Also I dont have just me to think about anymore. I have my mr 5. Before i had him i would have been in complete breakdown mode but I have to be strong for his well being im determined to let him grow up and know what its like to be a kid. I had to face adult problems from the age of three i dont know what a childhood feels like but i will do anything to make sure he has his and knows fun and love sure he has the tantrums and hears no and had been in timeout but they are kid problems and it might be traumatic to him at the time but its not going to be what he remembers because the good stuff will shine through all that and it will be what lasts forever

Re: What if?

lovely @NameUnknown

as I said before you are a beautiful..loving mum..

aside from all of the growing up emotions ...letting our children know that we love them unconditionally even when they don't want to hear it...stays with them forever...

yes you have mr 5 best interests covered....remember to have flowerpetals too,.

telling your psychiatrist that you have trouble disclosing some aspects of your childhood is a starting point...will also alert he or she to be gentle with you and allow you to visit that place in your own time..

you might know this already..

I hate coming across as someone who knows it all..

my passion takes over when I know people are in pain and I can feel some of that pain...

so not wishing to trample all over your delicate memories...I am here to offer support and listen to whatever you wish to talk about...

what is mr 5's favourite activity?

Re: What if?

All good @Former-Member,
I think she all ready knows that there is some stuff i am not ready to talk about as she has mentioned a few times that I have a habit to change subject when I dont want to talk about something but she also respects it.
I will admit i find it easier to look after others then myself its a habit i formed when i pretty much took over as mother to my 5 younger siblings but my partner does help me when he sees me struggle.
My mr 5 loves everything ironman right now but he does do tennis and swimming lessons

Re: What if?

good to hear that @NameUnknown

Your psychiatrist sounds in tune with you...so vital for you..

ah a 5 year old iron man tennis and swimming..

my younger son started swimming lessons at age 3 ..he was like a fish to water...

Re: What if?

Well @Former-Member my little man definitely did not like the water at first its taken him 2 years to put his face in and the last month or so has focused on him putting his face in and kicking at the same time
