Hi Karen,
Please just focus on this moment... thinking about what may or may not happen in the future, isn't helpful right now.
Please have a read of @snoopy 's post. As you know, the forums aren't the best place to be in moments of crisis. The more helpful and appropriate avenue is to call Lifeline again or Suicide call back.
Will you do that?

Hi Karen, not doing good tonight, mum is in hospital, i have just spent 5 hours with her in emergency, she has severe pain in her side and was vomiting from the pain. it was so distressing seeing her like that, it brought home my greatest fear, losing her.
they have her on morphine now, so she is not feeling the pain, but i am worried it is something serious, my mind is jumping to conclusions, bad ones.
Karen, i am going to have a long hot shower now, please bear with me, i might be a while.

Oh Jacques im so sorry. At least she is in hospital being looked after. My dear friend you have been through so much. My heart goes out to you I know how difficult this must be for you and so triggering.

Jacques your mum is the main priority you shouldn't even be worrying about me.
you also need to take care of yourself

Thank you, yes i got home at 8:40pm tonight, not feeling too good tonight, i am scared and alone.
Best case senario is kidney stone, worst case, kidney failure. otherwise they don't know 😕
