Re: catching up

Having Anxiety and Depression is like being scared and tired at the same time.

It's the fear of failure but no urge to be productive.

It's wanting friends but hate socialising.

It's wanting to be alone but not wanting to be lonely.

It's caring about everything then caring about nothing.

It's feeling everything at once then feeling paralysingly numb.

Re: catching up

My angel, that describes anxiety and depression so well, did you do this poem? it is so true, it is my life, wow, i might show this to my family if that is ok?

how are you my angel? what did you get upto today, i was worried about you all day, you seem to be becoming distant, or am i wrong? maybe you need your space, i respect that, even though i miss you terribly.

well this afternoon, i fixed one of my mowers, it is self propelled, but it did not work, so i fixed it, it will be nice not to have to push the heavy mower around the yard.

please be safe my angel, iyour poem describes where we both are at this moment, i have the constant push pull too, i am so scared of reaching out or doing anything for fear of rejection or being hurt.

i took a big leap to trust you my angel, even though i can't tell you everything, i have never regretted giving you my trust and opening my inner fears to you, i am so thankful every day that you are my friend. i could not ask for a better friend Karen.

hugs

Jacques

Re: catching up

If you are depressed,

you are living in the past,

If you are anxious,

you arel iving in the future,

if you are at peace,

you are living in the present.

Re: catching up

Hi Jacques

im sorry im just keeping my distance because I don't want to bring you down.

No I didn't make the poem I wish I had. It explains everything perfectly. I've written it in m y diary so I can show my treating team how I feel. I was thinking of showing mum so maybe she will understand.

How was your day Jacques

what are you up to tonight

Re: catching up

Hi my angel,

Karen, i miss you so much, i know when you are hurting wether you write or not, my angel, it makes me so sad to see you so down. i wish i could cheer you up.

oh my angel, i thought you did, yes that is great to show your treating team, yes it would be good to show your mum, but i don't think she will want to understand, so be careful for her reaction, i don't want you to get hurt anymore.

my day was fine, sorting some more paperwork and thinking a lot about you.

tonight just listening to music and about to watch something as a distraction to make the night go quicker.

what about you my angel, what are you up to tonight?

Re: catching up

Oh my angel that is so sweet, i am thinking about you, i have all day.

yes, i will take them when they come, i don't have many good days, so i enjoy them twice as much when they arrive.

no good Karen, my sleeping patterns are all over the place, and i wake up all hours of the night hyperventalating, i don't know what is making me so anxious, mybe going out once or twice a week is too much for me, i don't know.

it does have to improve, i have zero energy to do anything, i feel so lazy, but just can't manage any energy to excercise.

did the girls have a good day at school? is it busy when you drop them off and pick them up? the school here has not much traffic, it is always quiet.

Re: catching up

Im having panic attacks every time I go to school its so embarrassing. It doesn't help with the girl's because they are upset too. They are struggling being left at school separation anxiety is awful.

The girls are having a terrible time

talk to you tomorrow

Re: catching up

dear @Jacques

thanks for a message a bit earlier.

I am vicariously living my life through my neighbours and friends three Grandchildren, in particular the oldest. I've offered to tutor her because she is very behind and hasnt even gotten to school yet.

Ive been overwhelmed with help from Quora...I posted a question about tutoring and Im getting suggestions from all over the world. It's wonderful. I dont have to see anyone...just read the answers I enjoy and write thankyou.

My husband is playing Little Richard.....lucky me.

Love to both of you @hiddenite and @Jacques and thankyou for reading xx
