Re: catching up

Oh no Karen, things where going so good earlier in the week.

Karen you are not worthless or a failure, i do hope she can get her temper under control, is their any reason she got upset? do you ask her not to hit you? i know how your anxiety and flashbacks makes you in these situations, i am sure you are just as frightened as your little one.

maybe when she calms down you could have a little chat with her to not hit you anymore, it is not good for her or you Karen, i do understand how children are, i was like that too at her age, please be gentle with yourself Karen, just a small bump in the road.

hugs my angel, i know you are doing the best you can, oh and you are worth all the money in the world to me 😄 and to me you are such an inspiration so you are not a failure either 😄

Re: catching up

I know the feeling my angel,

i would shower you with praise and compliments, you would never feel worthless or a failure with me 😄 you are my protector, my angel, my princess. 🙂

do you have anything to distract Karen, when you go to bed is their any movie or mandalla you can do to take your mind off things?

i know you are wonderful and awsome Karen, i just need you too see what i see.

OMG i had to go to Officeworks today to get some stuff, anyway their where so many children in with their mothers, i could not understand why it was so busy, then i realised they where getting all the school stuff for their kids, have you got around to that yet? i bet things have changed from our days, do your little ones take laptops to school or are they too young yet?

Re: catching up

The girl's have laptop's at school that they get to use. The girl's books and stationary come from school I have to pick them up and name everything.
I'm glad I don't have to go to the shops to do it.
Im exhausted Jacques I don't even have the energy to distract.

Re: catching up

OMG they do have laptops, my goodness how times have changed, they still write, don't they, like in a book? Wow that is awsome so they are all packed up you just need to pick them up do you have a labeller? well that will help you distract when you get them 🙂

Oh yes, i am glad too, i was so anxious, i was shaking so much and the sweating, OMG it was so intence being around os many people, i can't handle it anymore.

Ok my angel, i understand, just try to be kind to yourself, you know your mum is just bullying you right? please try to have a little talk with your little one over the weekend some time or even next week about not hitting you anymore, i am not tryign to tell you what to do or anything, i just think it would be good to stop it now before it gets out of hand.

i know how exhausted you are, i have a real bad headache from going out today, and i am trying to get my breathing back under control, i am doing breathing excercises now, maybe you should try as well 🙂

Re: catching up

Yes my breathing is all over the place too 😞 take deep breaths...........in......................and out, do this until until your brreathing is in a regular rhythm, i have been at it for about 30 min now, it does help Karen.

Good for you Karen, i know from experiancee how out of control things can get with temper tantrums, i had shocking ones growing up, i know it is the anxiety and frustration for me, i am sure it is that for your little girl too, but you need to help guid her to channeling her anger into a non-destructive thing, you said you bought her a stress ball, maybe encourage her to squeeze it or throw it, maybe even if she still wants to hit something maybe a pillow.

I know how triggering it must be for you Karen, it must be so awfull, i hope she can break the cycle before it gets out of control, anger is a very strong force Karen, it has taken me years to get mine under control, and sometimes i still struggle with it.

Re: catching up

It's frightening someone so young could be so aggressive . I bought her a punching bag but she destroyed it.

It's hard because their psychologist is on holiday so they are not supported at the moment. Particularly with Christmas being a trigger for them.
