No need to apologise for the delayed response. I do like the thought of nightmares embed the trauma into long term memory, providing relief. That would certainly be nice to get some relief. At the moment my night time meds are giving me some relief.

I hope all is going ok for you, especially with your nightmares.

So am finally home after a long drive. The litttle break was nice but am glad it didn't go for any longer. In saying that, the kids had fun playing and swimming with their friends so it was nice to see them enjoying it. I did spend time with others but was able to remove myself at times when it became too much.

Now just need to do the fun things like washing

This was my view for most of my time away. Kids went swimming in their lots.

sounds like you had a nice time away @Snowie and the kids enjoyed it too. a nice chnge of scenery for you all. unpacking and clearing up is annoying but doesnt have to be done all in one go.
