yeah its going to be hard for lots of mums cause of lockdown or the strict rules. it really sucks atm so im sure she will appreciate your phone call and chat.
you could ask a florist in her area if you could arrange for flower to be sent? you pay online or over the phone for lots of things.

I have thought about flowers @outlander but I really can't afford them, and she's in a very small town. So they would have to come the closest regional town and it would be a lot more cost than if she was in a city. Its her birthday next week too so I'm thinking of getting her a gift voucher for a hiking tour near her. She'd like that.

Yes if dressings are dictated as being daily, then they must be done daily. They can't be left for 3 days. Mine are very easy for the nurse as the abdominal dressings stay on for 3 days, but the upper ones are very easy for them to do. I'm already seeing some small improvements. Probably because I got lazy and didn't do every day.

Just treasure every second of those 30mins tomorrow @Snowie. Take photos, hug your kids a lot, tell them you love them. Which I'm sure you will do. I know it's hard not to feel guilty, but you need this admission and it just sucks with the timing of it. I saw your other post, and I hear you how much this hurts.

@Sans911 thats a bugger about the flowers and they are even more expensive in small towns 🤦‍♀️
