My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

Thanks to both. You are so lovely @Snowie @outlander

I'm scared of going back to work. Lots of doubts about how to do things, how will I manage my energy levels, dealing with stress and criticism. But I have a support person from the disability employment service who will check in with me regularly.

I know lots of people are doing it super tough right now. So grateful to have an occupation that employs even in times of disaster. I have shelter, food and clean clothes. Many people will fall on extremely hard times very soon. I worry about the mental health toll it will take. It's very concerning.

Re: My special place

I think being scared of going back to work @Sans911 is a normal reaction. I think I would feel the same too.

I am glad you have a support person that can help and will be checking in with you, hopefully that makes this transition easier for you.

I agree with @outlander , anyone would be lucky to have you as their nurse.

It is times like this that we are grateful for what we have. I can't imagine going through some things people are going through. We have to try and look after ourselves and each other more then ever before.
