Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

@Former-Member ❤

I kind of guessed that was the not proud moment @Snowie honestly don't know how to talk about anything anymore like its to hard and sometimes its easier to just be quiet.

Re: My special place

I can understand how hard it is to talk about things @outlander

I feel like a broken record, just going over the same old stuff. I think to myself 'get over it' and 'move on' and 'know one wants to hear the same thing again'

Its hard not to think that. Sometimes silence is just easier

Re: My special place

yeah very much get that @Snowie I hate sounding like a broken record. even though some of this is new its still kind of on the same lines so its still feels like its the same stuff.

Re: My special place

Oh dear @Snowie really sorry about the sh. No shame should be involved though, merely an acknowledgement that you are not coping so well right now. I really hope your pdoc can help with that on Tuesday.

Thanks for offering to listen, but Im not ready to talk too much about it just yet. A lot of it has to do with it now being Feb, and it being a leap year. 29th is a really big traumatic anniversary for me.

And I think added to that was the tragic news today where 4 children died after being hit by a car. They were aged between 9 and 13. It reminded me of my 11yo niece dying in a freak car accident a bit over 4 years ago. And her dad, my brother, has been fighting the bad bush fires south of Canberra the last couple of days. He is a captain of his local RFS brigade. He suffers from ptsd as a result of his accident and loss of his young daughter. I know he will be badly affected when he hears that news about the dad who just lost 3 young children. So I worry about him .. a lot.

Sorry for my little rave @Snowie .. this was meant to be about you .. and Ive just made it about me.

Actually .. Just tagging, so I dont have to repeat that bit elsewhere. Hard work on a little mobile. Still no nbn here and therefore no PC. @Shaz51 @Zoe7 @Maggie @eth @Faith-and-Hope

Still happy to talk here @Snowie if youre game.

Re: My special place

@outlanderwell here if you do want to talk or just sit. How is your pain going?

@Former-Memberyou haven't made it about yourself hun. I am glad you feel you can write it here.

I'm sorry the leap year is hard for you. I was thinking of the 29th myself for different reasons (or maybe not).

I did hear about that accident, it was terrible. I try not to read those type of stories or listen to the news, too much heart break.

Hoping you get your nbn back soon, it sure has been a long time.

Re: My special place

I thought about you and your brother when I heard that horrible news this afternoon @Former-Member - life can be so cruel

@Snowie As Sherry said - no shame in doing what you did today -- you are hurting and have little or no outlet for people to hear you ...especially with not being able to talk with us here - so give yourself credit for all that you have achieved and just getting through the day ...that is enough for now
