My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Hey @Snowie - sorry to hear that you are so overwhelmed with anxiety that you felt the need to sh. Hopefully it's not too serious and you can take care of it.

Hearing you about your concerns with a new pdoc. The waiting and not knowing is so frustrating. I really hope that they are kind, empathetic and can help you. Our supports are so crucial for us to get on the right path. I'll be thinking of you. 💜 💜 💜

Saw this today and thought it suited lots of people really well. Even when we cannot talk we can sit with each other knowing that we have that 'silent support'
"Today was a Difficult Day," said Pooh.
There was a pause.
"Do you want to talk about it?" asked Piglet.
"No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do."
"That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend.
"What are you doing?" asked Pooh.
"Nothing, really," said Piglet. "Only, I know what Difficult Days are like. I quite often don't feel like talking about it on my Difficult Days either.
"But goodness," continued Piglet, "Difficult Days are so much easier when you know you've got someone there for you. And I'll always be here for you, Pooh."
And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his Difficult Day, while the solid, reliable Piglet sat next to him quietly, swinging his little legs...he thought that his best friend had never been more right.
