My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Hehe @Zoe7 , it must of been those preps!!

Hopefully the next two weeks off can restore your batteries a bit for the upcoming term.

I find a change in seasons sometimes brings sickness too.

Super snuggly Toby sounds super cute. I am sure he loves his cuddles!

I think both D and I will be having a pj day

Just checked in with S2 as well @Zoe7 , and he has an assignment he is prioritising too 🎉

Re: My special place

Yeah I'm blaming the preps too @Snowie lol I honestly do not understand how anyone would volunteer to take preps - they are so full on. They weren't as bad this time - think they were happy to be at the end of term too There are some real characters in the class I took and despite me complaining about having preps I did actually enjoy the day with them. They spent the whole afternoon making paper springs and I could not believe that kept them occupied for so long (and semi-quiet). I had a couple of things I got organised quickly to do with them but didn't need to bring it out. Giving out all their craft things for the day to put in their back took half an hour lol

Tobes is currently laying on his back spread out like a door mat - he is super cute when he does that. He must be sound asleep because he is making puppy noises - gotta love our fur babies

Oh wow @Faith-and-Hope both baby dragons are prioritising work - that is so good - makes my heart sing hearing that

Re: My special place

Thats why I stick to older kids too @Zoe7 , would not cope well with preps either!!!

Toby sounds like he is super comfortable. I wish I could sleep as easily as they do.

Re: My special place

Much prefer the 3/4 group @Snowie They are still young enough to want to play but old enough that you can have a conversation with them - it is definitely my preferred age range.

Toby has just followed Cat outside. She tried to sneak past but he realised she was there - must have super sonic hearing my little fella because Cat was so quietly walking past. They are both pretty cute with their love/hate relationship - mostly Cat not tolerating Toby and him wanting to chase her - then Cat swipes Toby and he walks away from her - all the joys of having both a cat and a dog

Think it is nearly time for me to have another sleep. I won't leave until around 4.30 and will take Toby with me. He loves one of my parents' dogs and can have a play with him whilst I am feeding the other two. They have separate areas in the yard - the Border Collies are escape artists and have been found kilometres away several times so their yard is enclosed. The Kelpie has free reign of the back yard until dinner time then he has to be moved into the courtyard. It takes a bit of time to organise everything and I want to be back to watch the NRL just after 6pm so the earlier I can get up there and get it all done the sooner I will be home. They will be fed a little earlier than they usually are but that is the payoff for me having to do it.

Re: My special place

They do make you smile @Shaz51 I get a lot of joy out of having my fur babies and seeing the funny little things they do together. Toby has spent all day on the couch with me apart from the one occasion that he followed Cat outside. He didn't stay out long and was quickly back snuggled with me. Loving my Toby cuddles today

Hi @Shaz51 , hope you and Mr Shaz are having a relaxing day.

Izzy is curled up on my lap at the moment! She is great with the kids and they adore her
