Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

I am glad it got better as the day went on @Zoe7

I have been sleeping more and earlier just to try and get away from the flashbacks. I don't understand why they have come back so strongly lately.

Gee you do have the kids a lot this week @outlander. Least with some warmer weather you will be able to get outside a bit with the kids.

Hi @Sans911 @Faith-and-Hope

Re: My special place

Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason when they hit us @Snowie - and that makes it harder to cope with hen we don't understand why it is happening. But you are getting through it - as hard as that is - each day without flashbacks or nightmares is a bonus Hon I find they are harder to keep at bay or deal with when I am really tired - or there has been a specific trigger but I seem to be dealing with them when they come a lot better than I used to. I can definitely feel a change within me and hopefully you feeling like you have come through the worst of it currently will help going forward also. Both of us have been through a lot and any little win that comes we take - and the bigger wins are gold!

Re: My special place

I'm okish, just up for a distraction and to talk about anything except me.

Re: My special place

Distraction is easy to help with @Snowie. I've just come back from seeing my pdoc. All is fine. I told here about the agency issues and she's referring me to a work assistance service to help me with returning to work. I see her again in two weeks.

I'm doing okish today. SI has settled a lot, and I think staying connected here in the few days has helped a lot.

I'm just having lunch, and a coffee. Mr A is outside and Jasper is wandering around the house.

@outlander

This is for you too

Re: My special place

Glad the pdoc went well and she is referring you for some help about returning to work. Hoping it makes it a little easier for you @Sans911

We were going to go to the movies but got times mixed up so it has been rescheduled for tomorrow. Went up the shops and D used some birthday vouchers she had to buy herself some things and got S's hair cut. So a productive morning.

Have you got any plan's for tomorrow?
