My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Hearing you re:SH. And if it helps my mh nurse and pdoc don't condone it, but they also place some trust in me that I am doing the best I can. So I would say the same applies to you.

My weekend kicks off with a volunteer event tonight. I have a pizza and games night. I have 20 people booked to come, which is pretty incredible. Whether that many turn up is another thing.

I'm learning to bake a sponge cake 🎂 on Saturday morning. My foster sister is back in the city so I'll see them for lunch afterwards. Sunday is a walk and breakfast with a nursing friend I've not seen in years. And my mother and I are going to a farewell afternoon tea for my neice who's moving interstate. We're quite close, so I'll miss her.

Monday I'm taking a road trip north with a new friend to see some wild flowers.

It seems it's the only way I can get a break from the flashbacks. I know that it isn't ideal but in the moment I am not thinking straight nor am I thinking safely either.

@Snowie I understand that need to stop the flashbacks in any way you can - they are debilitating at the best of times but seem even harder when you are trying to sleep. It is not a good position to be in and I feel for you so much Hon
