My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

@outlanderI am sleeping better but struggling to get up to drive little one's to school even with taking them early the night before. I am going to half my sleeping med at night and see how that goes. It is a fine line between getting sleep, not having too many nightmares and being alert in the morning to drive. I don't think I have found that balance yet.

I am glad your side effects have eased a bit but still seems like you have a few going on. I guess it is also a choice for you between the meds helping and the side effects you are having.

it really is tough @Snowie its hard to cope with the nightmares but its hard when we are so groggy too! i hope pdoc will be able to help out abit.
see how you go with the half tonight, perhaps itll be a better balance for you...

im hoping these meds help though eventually... they are only short term though. apparently i can only be on them for a few months she said about 4 months- not to sure why though and i cant increase the dose either.

@outlanderI am hoping it is a better balance. I will try it for about 4-5 nights and then speak to my pdoc about it too.

It is hard to talk about meds when I am not sure what your are taking!! I guess we just have to trust that our doctors know what they are talking about. Have you asked her what happens after 4 months if you still need something?

lol yes it is tricky we cant talk about the names here. yes i did, and she said this is the last medication i can have so if this one doesnt work or after the few months is up thats it. i can still stay on the mood stabilisers though but they arent helping, been on them at the highest dose for months. thats why i asked to go back on the AD's. i am almost considering a second opinion. ive only tried 3 (now 4) AD's and 1 (now 2) mood stablisers/antipsychotics so im not sure maybe shes stuck too...

@outlander, I would be getting a second opinion. There are so many AD's out there and I am sure many mood stablisers too, that there has to be different options out there.

My AD's seem to be working ok at the moment. I know there is no magical fix (that would be too easy!), but they seem to be helping. But then again I am so many meds per day that I forget what each one does. I do have them all written down just in case...

Im glad your meds are working @Snowie no theres no magic cures but that would be nice! I was on quite a few too but have reduced alot. Most of my meds were to counteract the side effects!

i remember that episode! its pretty good

whats happening in my world? hmm not alot same old same old. work is easing up in a few days so will become a little less hectic. im debabting about whether to see gp about my toe. not sure if its broken or just badly brusied at this point.
