I dont know why they are only saying distractions, surely they would know of something else even just talking to you till some of your distressed has eased....

Do you know what is causing the urges to pop up.more the last few days?

I really hear your frustrations through your words hun @Snowie. Besides the pdoc, is there a pyschologist or consellour there that you might be able to talk to? I think you might need to say to the nurses that you appreciate them trying to help, however, you are struggling to maintain your safety even in hospital. Do you feel able to give to them whatever you have used?

Go to about 2/3 down the page, and there is a leaflet on sh. I have read it, and while it mentions distraction, there are other things as well.

Thanks @Sans911 @outlander will look at that link. Haven't seen psychologist in here at all. Still on waiting list. By the time I see someone it will be time for me to leave.

I am just going to go, I feel like a rotten spoilt children who has been given this chance and ruining it. Thanks for your help

@Snowie I have read a little. I think a few of us have gone through similar in hospital. I broke a few of the rules in hospital a few times. Please don’t feel shame about it. It happens all the time.

I know that frustration over distracting. Please know it does get a bit easier over time.

I really hope you can find someone there to really talk to that doesn’t minimise how you are feeling. Crossing fingers that happens soon 💜🤗

You can't get the help if they are not helping you when you ask for it @Snowie - that is not your fault Hon. I understand that it may be very busy in there but you have done the right thing by asking for help and they need to do what they can to help you. Sitting right next to you my sweet Snowie.
