Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

That is how it was intended to be done by Linehan who devised the program @Snowie - the social interaction is just as much a key to the program as the skills and then the one-to-one with pdoc for clarification or to discuss things it brings up for you. It is quite intense and I know that I will eventually get something out of it - I can see little changes for me already but the session the other day was very triggering and subsequently my pdoc session went a lot longer than expected. I think I would have been there a lot longer too but I needed to leave for my physio session - was a very long day - took its toll both emotionally and physically.

@Snowie

I'd be only too happy to help you with any of the DBT stuff. Some of its a bit hard to wrap your head around. I'll be teaching @outlander

as well. It's actually helpful to me, as it reinforces my learning and use of skills.
