My special place

Garden is looking good thanks @Snowie after a couple of rainy days.

I have peas, beans, silver beet, beetroot, lettuce and carrots coming through.

Oh that must be hard @Shaz51 with little sleep. It can affect us so much. I hope things with Mr Shaz improve soon. Can you get in any day naps or is it all taken up with caring for Mr Shaz?

Has been raining here lots too, and cold. But more yuk weather equals more snow!

Have you used up all your pumpkin? I know you had a lot of that.

I gave some pumpkin away and cooked the rest @Snowie . It was delicious. It was really easy to grow too.

I write that MIL is improving. Send messages to family. Then she goes downhill again. Doctors in this morning after a rough night. Still need to put in more stents. It feels like one step forward, two back.

On top of that I've had issues with mum. She now says she's not sure about respite even though it was her idea in the first place. That if we decide not to go to the snow (depends on how MIL is doing) then she might not go. Doesn't matter that I've paid for it already.

I'm not coping. I want to run away from it all. I got more prn. That could be good or bad.

Hey @Snowie sounds like there's so much uncertainty right now, its totally understandable that you're wanting to run away from it all right now.

I'm really hoping that things improve for your MIL and there are not more steps backward from here on out and that you're able to go through with the plans for the snow and the respite for your mum

I'm trying to break it all down. Just concentrate on one thing at a time. Take it step by step. But that's not helping. I've told ppl that I will let them know what's happening once I find out, but the messages are still constant. There is no break.

I can't see us going away. Things just don't seem to work out.

I have so much chatter in my head. What I should do.

Are you able to put your phone on do not disturb for a bit and take a break @Snowie? If that's not an option because you're needing to be contacted, could somebody else hold the phone for a bit?

I've got it on silent at the moment @Ru-bee Trying to ignore. If I don't respond, they just start calling.

H is at work so he can't be that contact point.
