and hi @Bow hope your Friday's going well! gosh i'm the same with forgetting to drink water, sometimes i have to set alarms to remind myself to grab a cup. fb marketplace is sooo good, bought some hardcover books for cheap there.

I've never listened to an audiobook before @rav3n Not sure how I would go. I don't even like listening to music so I don't think I could. I would much rather silence than lots of noise.

I think the last year I was a bit like that too. Started a book but didn't finish one. Did make a goal also for this year to read more.

Never heard of those books. Will have to look into them.

I'll be around people tomorrow night for SIL's b'day and then have H's on Sunday, so all smiles here 😔We will just have a family dinner Sunday night for H. I normally cook one of his favourite meals. I think by Monday I will fall into a heap.

Just heard back from another psych office. Only have tele health available. Another one down the drain.

I'm going to take my meds and head to bed. I think that's the best thing to do at this stage.

some audiobooks are quite annoying to listen to if i'm honest, like the reader sounds 'monotone' at times. some are expressive, i once listen to 'the hobbits' audiobook and they had fantasy music and nature sound effects in the background too which made it feel like i'm listening to a movie. @Snowie let's hope this year is OUR year when it comes to reading!!

oh woah, that's a very social weekend! really hope there's a place, even if its a toilet, for you to escape to when you need a break. H's birthday plans sound lovely too, it's always the best when we get our favourite meal on our birthdays!! fingers crossed it all goes okay!!

So got a call this morning from my psych's office saying she is back and has an in person appointment on Wednesday if I wanted it. Yea I thought, don't have to wait until Feb to see her. At last something good in happening.

Unfortunately it's the same day when mum is getting surgery done and there is no one else to take her. So once again I've had to put my MH on the back burner for her. I really could have used that appt. especially with what I've been doing lately. I don't know how to approach today now. How can one small thing derail you.

Got lots to do before surgery?

I’m overwhelmed today @Snowie so much to do with washing, hairdressers, shopping, uni..I don’t know where to start.

My cousin has sent me a picture of mum today. She’s asleep, totally exhausted after the weekend. 😢

It must be overwhelming @Eve7 especially when you've got so much to do.

Step by step hon, try not to look too far ahead (I know, much easier said than done)

No doubt your mum is exhausted. Hopefully it can just be a chill day for her and she brightens up a little tomorrow or the next day.

Day ok. Mum had an argument with my brother so of course it was taken out on me.

Got to the orthodontist and cooked tea. Done for the day. Lots happening in the background.
