My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

Well 1 more ECT as an inpatient and then back to monthly outpatient ones. Looking forward to my own bed 😴 Definitely being discharged on Saturday.

My mum asked me yesterday if I was "better" now. Didn't know what to tell her. I know she is just worried but at the same time I don't think we are just magically better. I don't feel 'cured'. Yes my MH has improved but at the same time I know how easily it can slip again. Yes I'm hoping to never come back in here as an inpatient, but I have hoped for that in the past and look where I have ended.

So when I go home do I just act normal again? What is normal?

Still lots to think about.

Such good news @Snowie ! I don’t think we “get better” or cured of mh but I do believe we can be more stable and learn to deal with our triggers before they take over. That’s my theory 😊

Re: My special place

So got discharged from hospital this morning. Was fairly straight forward, done it before, out by 10am. Hubby picked me up. So glad to be back home. The dog was a tad excited, well still excited, she hasn't left my side!!

Dropped my meds of at the chemist so hopefully all that will be sorted, even though there has been only one little change in them.

Back their next Fri for ECT and then hopefully monthly after that.

Just so glad to be home again. Saw mum and she told me she has a list of things I need to sort out for her, that part doesn't seem like I've had a break. H has been doing so much so just happy to take some of the pressure of him. Also looking forward to my own bed tonight!

Sending all who read this some love and happiness 💌💌
