My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

So glad your thoughts are manageable at the moment, @Snowie 👍

Maybe the Olympics being on at night will help distract you?

I built a simple bookshelf this morning from the Reject Shop. Then did laundry. Now reading on top of bed, under a blanket.

Re: My special place

Thanks for your good wishes @tyme . I'm really hoping I can be back at my volunteer job on Monday, despite asthma coughing.

Yes, am keeping warm. I've hardly used the heating in the last 2 weeks as I've been in bed.

I can't handle an oodie though - too much weight on me.

Re: My special place

It's so easy to buy from the comfort of your own home @tyme

Snuggled under a blanket, cup of tea, movie on and my laptop!! Perfect conditions to buy stuff I don't need.

Haven't used the fast food apps before. Don't have them on my phone. Probably a wise choice. My kids have them.

We do have uber here. S ordered it one night but he didn't tell me. Was a surprise when they rocked up at the door!

Re: My special place

I normally like watching the olympics @NatureLover

Just a shame about the time difference.

Least you were able to fill in your day with a few things to do.

Do you like reading?

Re: My special place

What time do the Olympics start tonight? @Snowie

I usually love reading but I'm pretty sick of it after being in bed for over 2 weeks. I'll get up shortly and do some tidying.

@Snowie I bought stuff recently that I didn’t need 😂

Re: My special place

I think they start about 7pm on channel 9 @NatureLover Don't know what sports are however.

They are replaying the opening ceremony at the moment. Is ok just very long.

Really just noise in the background.

What type of books do you like reading?

@creative_writer I'm still looking on line at things! Hubby will come back and ask what all the charges are for!!

Re: My special place

@Snowie I had the opening ceremony on for a bit…. Wasn’t too interesting compared to other years.
keen to watch the swimming, gymnastics (watched a doco on Netflix about an American gymnast Simone Biel so keen to watch her)

Re: My special place

@Bow just waiting for them to light the cauldron and see how they are going to do it this year.

Haven't been glued to the tv however.

I love watching the swimming and the gymnastics too. I also watched that doco about Simone Biles. It was really interesting.
