Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Brain still not functioning anyone so sorry if I missed anyone

My illness is almost gone, just a runny nose left. Tested a few times for covid but they all came back negative.

Glad to hear this @Snowie 👍

Thanks for the offer to talk...am running late for work today so will have to keep moving.

I hope you managed to get through the day yesterday...and today too 🤞

Re: My special place

So at 11:45 the SW messaged me and told me that he couldn't make it today. He was meant to come about 12 noon.

What have I done wrong?

Obviously I am just another number and not someone to care about. Obviously I am just not worth it.

Why should I even care, it's not as if he is a permanent support anyway.

Done

Re: My special place

Argh @Snowie that is so disappointing. I’m angry for you. Can you talk to him?

Re: My special place

@Bow he didn't even have the decency to ring me. He just messaged me.

What would have happened if I didn't see the message. Would have been sitting around for ages.

I'm assuming he is with other clients

Re: My special place

@Snowie Do you think you could have a conversation about him constantly canceling on you and how this affects you? That you have these 12 weeks/ sessions and you feel they are just a waste cause he never shows.

Re: My special place

Oh @Snowie 😥

He’s the one who is unworthy, not you. What an unprofessional creep! Can you report him? This is so wrong.

Re: My special place

@Bow @Eve7 I hate confrontation. I would rather just suffer than confront someone about something. I know but unless I do it, it will just continue this way.

I wouldn't even know who I could report him too. I know it's through the hospital I was in, but not sure if it's them or they use an outside agency. This is the first time it has been offered to me on discharge.

Whats the point in them anyway. I should just cancel the rest. All it does is get me worked up and upset with him and myself. Then I end up more of a mess.

It really is hard not to take this personally

Re: My special place

I think you should at least mention it to someone at the hospital for follow up @Snowie Maybe discuss with the hospital pdoc as you’re supposed to have received a service that hasn’t happened and the sw is paid to provide that service.

Perhaps an email might not feel quite so confrontational but I’d also mention it next time you see your pdoc or psych.

Love you hon 🩵🩵🩵

Re: My special place

I can email my pdoc @Eve7 but won't hear anything back for about 3 weeks. He is on holidays overseas. Not sure what he could do anyway. My pdoc isn't actually connected to the hospital. His offices are next door to it, but the only thing he really does is makes referrals when needed.

When I am admitted, I have a pdoc appointed to me. It's always someone different. After my admission I don't hear from then again.

I'm just done.

Im tried of being that person people avoid. Tired of being needy, tired of always complaining. Ive had enough of myself.

Re: My special place

Im sure your pdoc can do something @Snowie. He entrusts you, his patient, to receive professional, competent support and if that hasn’t occurred he would surely want to know.

I’ve been lucky with a consistent pdoc when I go to hospital but that won’t be happening again as she has left. I have to meet a new hospital pdoc next week if I want to continue being visited by the mh nurse. It’s all too much for me right now.

Thinking of you hon 💜💜💜
