Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

Sorry to hear that @creative_writer I hope you don't wake up tomorrow feeling like that. Feeling sick can play havoc on our MH.

Just remember you have us here if things start to go downhill.

Have missed you all too ❤️

@Snowie I’ll be celebrating when you are you 💖

Being sick certainly does create havoc on MH. I’ve been more stuck in my thoughts today. CPTSD is hard on a good day, but it’s harder today

Re: My special place

I'm sorry it's harder for you today @creative_writer

CPTSD comes with so much baggage and harsh memories.

I hope you can get some relief soon.

@Snowie, what are you up to tonight?

Re: My special place

Not up to much tonight @creative_writer

Get my meds about 8:30 in here so will probably just hang out on here for awhile. Have been watching Criminal Minds on my phone so maybe just an episode of that too.

Have you got any plans for tonight?

Re: My special place

@Snowie I have seen criminal minds, is it good?

I’ve just had dinner. Will be trying some prayers too, and will be here on and off. I’m also very exhausted, might try to get into bed by 10pm

Re: My special place

Criminal minds is one of my favourite shows @creative_writer so have watched it numerous times. Just good to pass the time in here.

Night meds are between 8 and 9. Get to sleep earlier in here then I do at home.

Hopefully you get a good night's sleep so you're not as tired tomorrow. I know how much lack of sleep can affect our MH.

Re: My special place

@Snowie, I have quite a few things on my watch list, only problem is uni is full on right now. If only I had the time to watch some stuff with my sister.

Being well rested is important. It’s not just about quantity but quality. I had a good 9-10 hours today I reckon. Sometimes when you’re sick you need that extra rest

Re: My special place

I don't seem to watch as much when I am home but it has helped pass the time in here @creative_writer

D has just started uni and is loving it.

I'm glad you are getting that rest time. You are right about quality over quantity. Luckily the change in sleeping meds are helping with getting to sleep which was one of the big problems before I came in.

Re: My special place

@Snowie, watching does help pass time. I find myself watching with my sister and mum rather than watching stuff on my own. I feel it’s more distracting when watching with others than alone. I can still be very occupied with thoughts when on my own. I just hope the intrusive thoughts become less intense over time. Not sure how I’ll get there though.

What is D studying? Happy to hear she is loving it.

It’s good to hear sleep meds are helping. It really does create havoc on your mental health over time.
