Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

@Bow @Eve7 I had to give them my word but I told them I didn't know if I could. I did promise to ring someone however. I guess hubby has a right to be pissed off with me. He didn't know anything was wrong until my pdoc rang him the other night.

I just have to find the right time to tell the kids and my mum about going in and what I will say.

How are the both of you?

Re: My special place

It all sounds very difficult @Snowie but you need to put your health and wellbeing first.

Im doing ok but it’s a struggle. I’ve just returned from the library where I joined a knitting group. It took me an hour sitting in the car before I went in but I did it and the ladies were lovely…now to finish all my projects lol

Re: My special place

A knitting group sounds lovely @Eve7 Well done for having the courage to go in. That would have been very daunting for you. I hope you are able to meet some new friends from the group.

I'm sorry to hear that it is a struggle hon. I hope things ease for you soon.

Had just put dinner in the oven and hubby rings (his at his buddies house) to see if we wanted to go out with friends for tea. Couldn't think of anything worse so glad I had a good excuse!!

Re: My special place

It was really hard @Snowie but now I’ll have something positive to tell pdoc. I have to catch up on uni work now.

I can understand you not wanting to go out tonight.

Re: My special place

@Snowie, I know it’s hard not to feel so defined by your hardest moments. Maybe it’ll help if you define yourself by what you do to get through those dark moments. Your heart is still beating, and there is so much potential in you 💖.

It sinking in my mind that I only have two week to go. Time flew by so quickly

Re: My special place

Hi @tyme, how are you?

I’m doing okayish emotionally, I think the storm that I was in recently passed with the aid of PRN. The last few days have been better. Having issues with my arm though, I am hoping the sense of feeling normalises soon

Re: My special place

Hey @creative_writer ,

Thanks for responding. Do you know what the numbness is from? I've had it in the past and it's really annoying. I thought I had carpal tunnel like my mother, but I think it's okay for now.

I'm glad to hear today is slightly better. Does uni start soon?
