Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Good you're onto your fluids @Snowie.

Hand sewing is not easy, sounds very creative and mindful. Do you have any pictures of your hand sewing @Snowie?

Wow, that’s great @Shaz51 statistics are hard to keep up with.

Re: My special place

@Shaz51 are there any sports you like watching or are you more into movies/tv series?

I do a lot of felt work kits, mainly things to do with Christmas. These are two I've done. Some have names on them so can't put them on here @Blackbird11

That sounds yummy @Eve7 I hope you get to enjoy some. Do you put jam and cream on top?

Re: My special place

Thanks @Blackbird11

I have a stocking on the go at the moment.

I like non fiction books, especially autobiographies, mostly around the topics of WW1 and WW2. There is no shortage of books around these topics. One day I would love to travel to Europe.

Sorry I haven't even asked how you are doing today? Do you work other than on the Sane forums?

Re: My special place

So very cool crafts 😎 @Snowie

The historical sites in Europe would be so fascinating. Both sides of my family come from Europe. I'm a non-fiction fan too. Mainly sport and self-help. Have you read Weary Dunlops book? If so, would you recommend it?

I'm doing ok, thanks. I do work as a home care assistant in the community @Snowie. I am also studying a certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work too, we're halfway through. I finish in May.

Re: My special place

They would be amazing to see @Blackbird11 I love the history of places. Need to wait until both my kids are 18 and over so they can look after themselves!

I have heard of him but have never read his books. The last autobiography I read was The Stable Boy of Auschwitz. Was a good book.

That sounds great that you are studying. I hope you get a lot out of your course. Not long to go now. Does this mean that you can get jobs in different areas of the community?

Re: My special place

Yes @Snowie mulberry jam and cream. You would love Europe, it’s amazing and full of interesting history.

Some of my friends are thinking of doing a river cruise next year. I just have to work out my budget.
